Dr Rebecca Toal
BSc(hons) Sports Med, MBChB, MRCGP, PGDip Derm
Rebecca is an experienced GP and Dermatology Specialty Doctor, currently working within the NHS.
Having witnessed the profound effect that Dermatological problems can have on general wellbeing, she is passionate about helping patients to feel confident in their own skin.
Graduating with an MBChB in Medicine from the University of Glasgow in 2012, Rebecca went on to complete GP training, which included 6 months of full-time training in the West Glasgow Dermatology department. Subsequently, she earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology with distinction in 2020, further enhancing her expertise in the field. After working for several years as a Dermatology specialist within her GP practices, Rebecca began work as a Dermatology Specialty Doctor at the West Glasgow ACH in 2024.
Rebecca has also trained in Aesthetics with the prestigious DermaMedical, bringing a comprehensive, and holistic approach to her rejuvenating skin treatments.
At Derma GP, Rebecca offers advanced Dermatology services, including skin consultations, skin checks, cryotherapy for minor lesion removal, keloid scar treatment, and rejuvenating aesthetic treatments.
The plan is to continue to grow, in order to offer additional services, including minor skin surgery options in the future.

**Due to previous Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine experience, Rebecca can also offer steroid joint injections, for suitable patients, in order to relieve the pain of conditions such as moderate-to-severe knee or shoulder osteoarthritis, or tennis elbow.
